Perhaps more than ever, the most common color of accessories will be white. Bisque and-white, is the only accessory to other colors at all common in new or remodeled bathroom. For sinks, undermount simple models will be most popular, followed by integrated sink tops, drop-in sinks, vessel sinks and pedestal sinks.
Ceramic and granite
Ceramic and porcelain are the dominant materials in bathrooms floors this year, while natural stone continue to be popular. Although increasingly popular in the kitchen, hardwood floors does not become common in bathrooms in 2010. For vanity tops, granite will remain king, quartz and marble also prove popular options.
One coin per Finish
Faucet finishes in the bathroom are similar to those used in the designs of modern cuisine, with brushed nickel follow the path in 2010. Polished chrome and satin nickel also be incorporated in bathrooms, as they had been throughout 2009. These finishes will be followed by bronze faucet and stainless steel.
In the old, out with the new
Traditional style design will be more popular in bathrooms in 2010, as contemporary designs will be a distant second, followed by the Shaker style and even more distant third. Beiges and bones are the most common colors used in bathrooms, followed by whites and off-whites, then into the brown, indicating a somewhat muted color palette of this year.
