Top fashion model Daria Werbowy is kicking major ass in “Game Girl”, the action packed editorial of the May 2009 issue of Vogue Paris.
Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, “Game Girl” was set in an out of the way little deserted villages and dirt roads. This rugged, arid background complements Daria’s various skimpy ensembles of denim wear such as cut-off jeans, jackets and mini-skirts which were all worn over color-rich and seductive lingerie. The footwear of choice was cowboy boots.
Vogue Paris is famous for embracing that strong, powerful, dominatrix type of woman, and in this issue Daria embodies her very well in an ass kicking editorial. Inez and Vinoodh’s raw sort of imagery brings so much life to the action packed images, and of course Daria has much to do with that. The issue continues to embrace the “Irresistible Jean” theme and Emmanuelle Alt gives us some of the seasons hottest jean shorts and jackets as well as sexy swimsuits and kick ass boots.
