History

According to folklore, there is no written test for a "superstitious" Friday the 13th "before the 19th century. The earliest known documents in English were presented in 1869, biography by Gioachino Rossini
[Rossini] was admired by the amendment and surrounded by friends, and although, like many Italians, it is Friday as unlucky, and thirteen as an unlucky number, it is interesting to note that the Friday, November 13, died .

However, it is transmitted by oral traditions and folklore. In addition, "the determination of the origin of the superstition is an inexact science at best. In fact, it is mostly conjecture. "has proposed several theories about the origin of the superstition of 13 Friday.
A theory is a modern fusion of two ancient superstition that thirteen is an unlucky number and Friday is an unlucky day.

In numerology, the number is twelve when the number of completion, which is reflected in the twelve months of the twelve signs of the zodiac, twelve hour clock, the twelve tribes of Israel, twelve apostles of Jesus, the twelve gods of 'Olympus, etc. while the number was considered to violate the integrity of thirteen irregular hours. There is also a superstition, which supplied some of the Last Supper or of Norse mythology, the thirteen persons sit at a table in the cause of death of a guest. Friday was considered an unlucky day, at least since the 14th Century, the tales of Canterbury and many other professions must travel as a Friday as an unlucky day for the people or to start new projects. Black Friday has been associated with falling stock markets and other disasters since 1800.  have also suggested that Friday is the day Jesus was crucified. From Wikipedia Fantabulous

1 teaspoon salt
1 / 2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened

Five Easy home ideas for Christmas gifts

Homemade gift ideas for Christmas need not be complicated to work. They do not look for sub-standard or tacky either ... you know, homemade!

It is better to stick to a theme and give everyone the same type of gift. This way, you can buy all your ingredients and equipment and put a bit of a production line.

I tend to stick to things that I could prepare in my own kitchen that's where my strengths. You may be interested in crafts or woodwork. Go with your hobbies and skills. This time is not too adventurous or are very hard to assess.

My theme is this year's supply of gourmet cuisine. I love to cook and with the resurgence of home cooking in recent years, I know I am not alone.

It can be difficult to find ingredients of high quality without going to specialty stores, and who can afford it?

A better option is to make your own. So why not make some for everyone else too? They are truly gifts Christmas inexpensive to make.

Here are my top five to make this year:

Flavored olive oil: Buy the best quality olive oil you can and instill a variety of herbs and spices. They are always popular gifts for Christmas as many people never think to buy themselves a treatment like this.

Flavored Vinegar: - Very quick and simple to use. Again, just use a variety of herbs and spices to your favorite for a ready-made marinade or dressing.

Hot Curry: - Be careful when you mix up what you do not receive one in your eyes - it's hot! It can be fantastic presented in a wooden box so you can find all your craft store.

Dried Herb Seasoning: - It is always the first to run into my kitchen, I feel I never make enough room. It is excellent for rubbing the meat before cooking, sprinkle on and in pots, where you want to add flavor.

Flavored Sugar: - These are ideas Christmas gift homemade easy and are great sprinkled on pancakes and used in cooking. Sugar adds flavor and a subtle flavor that is delicious.

All these elements have been chosen for their relative simplicity and conservation properties.

Once you've taken, take care how you present them.

Spend some time reading the storage jars on offer in your supermarket or shop craft supplies. Looking rather small bottles of style you can dress.

To decorate your bottles and jars use part or all of the following ideas:

      * - Labels with your own logo and name.
      * - Seals Wax color.
      * - Raffia ribbons, taffeta or silk.
      * - Straw lined or padded box
      * - Added a recipe card.

Always do more to cover those occasions when you need to find gift ideas last minute.

How to buy a good Christmas gift for a girlfriend

In asking what is a good Christmas gift for a girlfriend, you must drop the issue.

That's actually surprisingly easy when you take a little time to think about the woman of your gift list.

Just exactly is the relationship with your girlfriend - intimate, close or casual?

You do not make the mistake of giving something that will be considered a signal of intimacy with someone you intend to stay relaxed with. The reverse is also true.

What is your girlfriend interested in?

Refine what she would do, not what you want it like, what you personally like or worst of all, what your mother likes.

The worst gift from my now ex-husband ever gave me for Christmas is an electric can opener, just as his mother had bought for herself. There is a reason we're not together!

What do you want your gift to tell your girlfriend?

By that I mean subtext. What you give as a Christmas gift for a girlfriend come back to bite you if you buy something that looks cheap, something that screams exorbitant prices, or something that says "I am the mother to pick up one more of these while she was shopping "

Is there a Christmas gift that hits the target every time?

Well, you may beg to differ but I believe the best Christmas gift for a girlfriend, wife, partner, daughter or any other woman you might be buying a gift basket for women.

I'll tell you why.

Themed gift baskets are of various shapes and varied sizes, but still they look attractive. First impressions are important for any gift for a woman.

Items in a gift basket is an abundance of cute little packets, each to be unpacked and examined and exclaimed over separately, which prolongs the joy of the gift received.

Many of the items in gift hampers are expendable and after these gift items are exhausted, your girlfriend is happy to receive another basket on another occasion.

Five gift ideas for your family

This Christmas, everyone stressed out about money, auto workers in Detroit to the bigwigs of Wall Street (OK it's a lie) to college students everywhere. If you're short of money (or if you should save your pennies for Chanel bags or PS3 games) is a good idea to consider creating homemade gifts for your friends and family. Most people will not care that you do not spend much money on them because they will hit you spent so much effort to reach such creative gift ideas DIY. Unless you're buying gifts for boys 10 years who only likes video games and sugary cereals, you can easily get away with a check to yourself for Christmas. Just roll up your sleeves, put the whiskey on the shelf and get the right side of your brain running.

In five gift ideas for Christmas crafts, I presented some concepts that you fire that really does not take too long to complete. If you have a Sunday afternoon free, you can probably put one of them with ease and creativity.

A gift idea cool hobby is to make someone an original t-shirt using iron-on transfers (which costs about $ 10 for a pack of 10 sheets of transfer). Just print a picture of family fun or embarrassing with a funny slogan and then use an iron on paper and an iron to make your own one-of-a-kind gift, crafts. If you think that putting a photo on a t-shirt is a bit of a tired concept, you can always make a little collage of their Favorite Things: Puppies and Gossip Girl for your little sister, wolves and ice for your brother. In total, you could make 3 or 4 original t-shirts for about $ 5 each, which is lower than the cost of 3 burritos.

To complete the five ideas for homemade gifts are Sock Puppets, artisanal fishing lures, and more!
